Global Simdemic – Llama-19

This MOD has not been created to make fun of any pandemic past, current or future.
The Sims 4 is a life simulation and all aspects of life, the good and the bad, have their place in Sim form.
I have intentionally chosen not to include full illness or death within in this Mod.
The Sims 4 and the community has helped me mentally through 2020 and having my Sims have their own Sim version of what we are experiencing/experienced makes/made me feel less alone.
Stay safe, have courage and be kind to one another – CommodoreLezmo

This MOD contains hidden global traits that will affect all sims across the worlds. Depending on age this trait and it’s subsequent buff will affect Sims differently.
It also contains two Lot Traits. One for a Home Lot, The other for a Community Lot.

All Sims will get the ‘Global Simdemic’ Buff:

Global Simdemic
From Llama-19
There is a harmful new strain of the Llama Flu.
Scientists from Foxbury Institute have named the virus Llama-19 and FutureSim Labs are working on crafting a vaccine.
Until then all Sims across the worlds, from Willow Creek to Mt. Komorebi, are in the midst of a Global Simdemic.

For Children – Young Adults this buff will be a Fine +1 Buff and they will show no symptoms of Llama-19
(Fine was the best emotional choice so mod wouldn’t effect all aspects of Gameplay)

For Adults this buff will be a Fine +1 Buff however when idle they will show symptoms, including headache and coughing/sneezing.
(Fine was the best emotional choice so mod wouldn’t effect all aspects of Gameplay)

For Elders this buff will be a Tense +1 Buff and when idle they will show symptoms, including headache, coughing/sneezing and a fever.

There are two lot traits that can be applied in build mode.

1. Llama-19 Home Lot Trait
Happy + 1
Your Sim is safely in their bubble. No strangers, no rules, no germs.

Whilst on lot Sims will have a Happy +1 Buff from feeling secure with their family or friends.

2. Llama-19 Community Lot Trait
Tense +1
Being out and about just isn’t what it used to be. Am I doing the right thing? Ah! Did that Sim just cough?

Whilst on lot your Sims will have a tense +1 Buff from the Simdemic and may behave erratically.

I have play tested and it does work with Base Game, however the symptom Animations will only appear if you have Get to Work installed.
This mod is a script mod so the folder must go directly into the Mods folder. No subfolder.
